Who Is Annie Guest? Everything To Know From Marriage To Her Movies
Annie Guest and Ruby Guest are the two adopted daughters of Amy Lee Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest. Curtis followed in the footsteps of her parents, the stars Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. Curtis rose to fame for her roles in the Halloween trilogy and other horror movies following her appearance in the classic slasher Halloween in 1978. Her roles in Knives Out, Freaky Friday, and Everything Everywhere All at Once, the latter of which brought her an Academy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, have also made her well-known. In addition, she was awarded two Golden Globes for her roles in True Lies and Anything But Love.
In 1984, Curtis and Christopher Guest tied the knot. Like Curtis, Christopher Guest comes from a distinguished family of politicians and diplomats, and his mother, Jean Pauline Hindes, was a casting director at CBS. Christopher Guest is a well-known director of films, having directed Mascots, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show, and For Your Consideration. In addition, he received a Grammy for A Mighty Wind and an Emmy for writing for The Lily Tomlin Special. In addition to his work as a director, Christopher Guest has acted in movies such as Little Shop of Horrors, The Princess Bride, This Is Spinal Tap, and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
Annie Guest Is Not An Actor
Annie Guest chose not to follow in her family’s footsteps despite the fact that both of her parents work in the film industry and that her grandparents were also performers. Though Annie Guest did not pursue her parents’ Hollywood career, she is still active in the arts and possesses a strong creative spirit. Annie Guest is a skilled dancer and teacher at the Los Angeles dance company MNR Dance Factory, rather than an actor.
Since Annie Guest is not well-known, not much is known about her past, including the little data her parents have disclosed. She occasionally goes to industry gatherings with her parents, particularly when they are nominated for any honors. Speaking about her family in her acceptance speech after winning the Best Supporting Actress Oscar at the 2023 Oscars, Curtis said, “To my family, my beautiful husband, Christopher Guest, our daughters, Annie and Ruby… we just won an Oscar.”
Annie Guest’s Husband
At her family’s house in 2019, Annie Guest wed Jason Wolf. Curtis described the wedding on Instagram as “a spectacular celebration.” Wolf is listed as a producer on TV series like Paranormal Declassified, Undercover Boss, and Legend of the Lost with Megan Fox, despite appearing to avoid the spotlight like his wife. Similar to her spouse, Annie Guest has contributed behind-the-scenes labor; in her father’s film For Your Consideration, she is listed as “Additional Crew”. Despite not being an actor like her parents, Annie Guest has made a firm decision to follow her passions in life.
Annie Guest Age
Annie Guest’s age is 34.
The eldest child of Curtis and Guest is named Annie. Not long after her birth in December 1986, the couple adopted her from her birth mother. In 1991, Curtis told PEOPLE, “We woke up in the middle of the night to the phone call announcing her birth.”
As an adult, Annie has dedicated her life to the arts, just like her parents did. However, she has chosen to follow her passion for dance rather than acting. Her peers recognized her as the top choreographer while she was attending Ohio’s Kenyon College to hone her skills. She received her BFA in dance in 2009.
She started her dance training at the age of eight and competed both nationally and internationally in the eight years that followed. She is currently employed as a dance instructor at MNR Dance Factory in Los Angeles.
