In 2018, Netflix released its original feature film, The Christmas Chronicles. A whimsical modern-day comedy, starring Kurt Russell as an unpredictable and snappy wisecrack Santa, takes two mischievous siblings Kate and Teddy Pierce (Darby Camp and Judah Lewis) on a frisky and exuberant adventure to try and save the Christmans holiday. The two naughty and troublesome siblings work around a plan to kidnap Santa Claus. However, the plan goes down the drain, and now they have to team up with jolly old Saint Nick in order to save the Christmas holiday.
