The Cast Of Obliterated – A Guide To Character’s

The first season of Obliterated began on November 30, 2023, and received a lot of attention due to its star-studded cast. The Netflix action drama-comedy series follows an elite unit made up of CIA, Navy SEALs, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and NSA personnel. The highly competent experts work together to avert a terrorist attack in Las Vegas. When the characters believe they have neutralized the threat, they go out for the night. Unfortunately, the squad discovers the bomb is a forgery and must overcome their intoxication to locate the genuine article.

The Cast Of Obliterated

The cast of Obliterated comprises Nick Zano as Chad McKnight, Shelley Hennig as Ava Winters, Terrence Terrell as Trunk, Alyson Gorske as Lana, C. Thomas Howell as Haggerty, Eugene Kim as Paul Yung, Paola Lázaro as Angela Gomez, Kimi Rutledge as Maya Lerner, and a few additional supporting performers. Most of the characters comprise the aforementioned special squad of officials drawn from various branches of the United States Armed Forces. They are a motley crew of disorganized individuals attempting to thwart a terrorist network in Sin City.

Nico Zano As Chad McKnight

In the film Obliterated, Nick Zano plays Chad McKnight, one of the group’s commanders. Chad is a Navy SEAL who frequently butts heads with the other squad leader, Ava Winters, and is the focus of several women’s affections in the Netflix series. Zano is most likely best known for his portrayal as Nate Heywood/Steel on the CW Arrowverse drama DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

The actor also played Vince in What I Like About You, Drew Pragin in Melrose Place, Pete in Happy Endings, Preston Hillingsbrook in 90210, and Johnny in 2 Broke Girls. Zano’s most prominent film role is as Hunt Wynorski in The Final Destination.

Shelley Hennin As Ava Winters

Shelley Hennig portrays Ava Winters, a CIA spy, in Obliterated. Ava is one of the elite team’s leaders, and she is uncompromising and headstrong. She and Chad have an intriguing relationship (with wild chemistry). Prior to Obliterated, Hennig played Malia Tate on MTV’s horror series Teen Wolf.

The actress has also acted in the long-running television programs Days of Our Lives as Stephanie Johnson, The Secret Circle as Diana Meade, and Dollface as Ramona. Her significant film roles include Debbie Galardi in Ouija, Blaire Lily in Unfriended, and Carrie Grey in When We First Met.

The actor appeared in one-episode parts on shows such as Criminal Minds, Scorpion, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G., Shameless, Black-ish, and Batwoman. Terrell was also a regular (as Eli Russell) on the CBS sitcom B Positive. Although he doesn’t have many film credits, he did play an orc in the severely derided fantasy crime picture Bright.

Alyson Gorske As Lana

Lana, played by Alyson Gorske, is the only key character in the Netflix action series who is not a professional US Armed Forces personnel. Instead, Lana is a civilian who becomes involved in the case the team is working on in Las Vegas. Gorske may be familiar to viewers who have seen her in Devil’s Triangle as Sam Taylor, Meteor Moon as X-Caliber, Jungle Run as Amanda, and Amy’s F**k It List as Amy Taylor. Her most well-known role on television was that of Rachel in the Jason Segal and Harrison Ford sitcom Shrinking.

C. Thomas Howell As Haggerty

Thomas Howell plays Haggerty, an explosives enthusiast, in the Netflix series Obliterated. Howell’s character serves on the elite squad as a United States Army explosives technician, which comes in handy while they investigate a bomb threat. Throughout his career, the actor has acted in a variety of television shows and films, with notable film parts including Ponyboy in The Outsiders and Thomas Chamberlain in Gettysburg. His most well-known television roles were George Foyet (aka the Boston Reaper) in Criminal Minds, Dewey in Southland, and Roy in The Walking Dead.
