Is Marcus Dante Leaving After The Equalizer Season 4?

One detective has left the New York Police Department, or has it? After accepting a position with the NYPD’s Special Investigations Unit in Los Angeles during the Season 4 finale, will Marcus Dante permanently quit The Equalizer? Additionally, what will become of Tory Kittles’ character now that he has relocated across the nation and left Robyn heartbroken? Continue reading to find out if the Season 4 conclusion was a classic red herring or if Dante is quitting The Equalizer.

Is Marcus Dante leaving The Equalizer?

Dante doesn’t appear to be going away from The Equalizer. Even though his character was no longer in New York City, Tory Kittles, who has played Dante since Season 1, appeared to confirm that he would be back for The Equalizer Season 5 in an interview with Screen Rant in May 2024.

However, because of Kittles’ current Broadway position, Dante might play a smaller part in The Equalizer Season 5. In the Broadway production of Home in New York City, Kittles debuted as Cephus Miles two days before to the season four finale of The Equalizer. “Leaping into our inaugural presentation! Kittles, who plays the play’s lead, wrote at the time, “Homecoming returns to Broadway tonight for the first time in 44 years,” as the caption for an Instagram post.

The show will be held from May 17 until July 21, 2024. The start date of The Equalizer Season 5 production is still being determined, but if it happens before Kittles’ Broadway run ends, Dante might not appear in the first few episodes of the season, which would make sense given Dante’s new employment.

The Equalizer Season 4 Info

There is a great deal of interest in what will happen in The Equalizer season 4 on television, even since Denzel Washington’s film adaptation of the series debuted in the fall of 2023.

Viewers saw Queen Latifah’s character Robyn McCall’s (tough vigilante) professional life spill over into her personal life in season 3. She made every effort to keep the two worlds apart, but she was unable to do so as her family’s life was irrevocably altered. She did not waver in her commitment to obtaining justice for her clients, though, and viewers will be able to witness this in the upcoming episodes.

Here is all we currently know about season four of The Equalizer.
