Coraline Remastered Version in Theatres Back Again!

Coraline, an animated dark horror fantasy film and a masterpiece from the director Henry Selick, is a story about a curious girl who discovers a fantastical yet unsettling mirror world through a secret door inside her new home. This leads Coraline to another alternate but identical dimension, meeting button-eyed versions of her parents and neighbors. Mainly, the film featured the voices of Dakota Fanning as Coraline Jones, Jennifer Saunders as Miss Spink, Ian McShane as Mr Bobinsky, Keith David as Cat, Teri Hatcher as Other Mother, Dawn French as Miss Forcible, and many more.

Nevertheless, the 2023 Coraline live-action remastered version being screened in theatres is largely the same as the original one in 2009. After the successful two-day event, Fathom Events dedicated another day to the theatrical viewing of the Coraline Remastered version. Celebrated as Coraline Encore, the remastered version was viewed in theatres on August 28 and 29.

Laika Studios has re-released Henry Selick’s acclaimed dark horror fantasy as a part of its 15th anniversary celebration. Officially posted on X, Coraline fans will get another chance to see the coming-of-age dark fantasy movie on the big screen in August 2024. This time, the acclaimed film will be released in remastered 3D.
