She-Hulk Season 2 Renewal – Budget Has Been Smashed?

Will She-Hulk Get A Season 2 Or Its Budget Has Been Smashed?

The Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, portrayed by the highly brilliant Tatiana Maslany, is one of Marvel Studios’ most funny releases. Jennifer Walters broke the fourth wall for the first time in the MCU (sorry Deadpool!), confronted Kevin about the mutants, danced with Megan Thee Stallion, and made love with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), among a few other things. While fans of the character are still wondering if they will see more of her in the future (there is still no word from the studio), She-Hulk producer Wendy Jacobson has offered a few suggestions about where her tale could go next.

The first season of Jessica Gao’s series was rooted in authenticity; as Jennifer Walters lived the everyday life of an attorney while trying to balance her recently discovered superpowers. “Well, if we’re doing more She-Hulk… What I appreciate about She-Hulk is feeling like I’m experiencing this character’s the world. “It’s a woman in her thirties, attempting to handle her life, her career, and her circle of friends, and oh, she just happens to be able to turn into a Hulk,” Jacobson told ComicBook, adding, “So, I think I’d like to explore that more.”

‘She-Hulk’ Season 2 is in Limbo’s State

The first season of She-Hulk has a decent approval rating – 77% on Rotten Tomatoes – yet it received negative feedback from the audience. The criticism varies from concerns about CGI and the development of characters to the show being “too feminist.”

Fans are even more concerned about Jennifer Walters’ return amid Marvel Studios’ creative overhaul this year. When asked if season 2 was in the charts, Maslany responded, “I don’t think so. It appears we went beyond budget, and Disney said, ‘No thanks.'” However, like with everything Marvel, even if there are plans for another season, none of the associated creatives may say much until the firm makes a public disclosure.

Guess we’ll all have to wait and see.

The Future Looks Bleak for She-Hulk 2

There have been many worries about Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly since Maslany has not been confirmed to reprise her role and a second season of the show has yet to be greenlit. Maslany suggested in an interview earlier this year that she has no faith that She-Hulk will return for a second season. It should be noted that Maslany has already offered false facts regarding She-Hulk, even asserting she was cast shortly after the news was made public.

“I don’t think so,” Maslany replied. “I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like ‘no thanks.”

Though She-Hulk could have matured into fantastic on the big screen, Disney+’s approach isn’t especially beneficial to that goal. Few series hit it out of the park in their debut episodes, and many of the most beloved TV shows of all time didn’t take off after their second seasons. That is the nature of the media, as the writers’ room learns to collaborate and the public provides input on what is and isn’t working. However, when a firm invests $225 million in a rookie season, there is little room for the identity-finding process. She-Hulk may have been too pricey, but the process of creating television is also costing us something: the chance to see a good show become great.
